Vrikshasana
Vriksha
means
‘tree’. In this asana, the
posture resembles a tree.
Procedure
-
Stand
erect with the feet together.

Bend
right leg from the knee and place heel of this leg at the root of left
thigh.

Rest
the foot on the thigh, toes pointing downward.

Now
raise the arms straight over the head, joining both palms together in
worship pose and pointing towards the sky.
-
Balance
on the left leg. Don’t
bring your bend knee forward.
-
Remain
in this pose for few seconds while breathing deeply.
Repeat
the exercise with left leg.
