( Dead Body Pose)
Shava
means
‘dead body’. In this asana,
a person resembles a dead
body.
Procedure
-
Lie
flat on the back.

Place
hands a little away from the sides with palm facing up .

Stretch
legs out.
-
Keep
heels together and toes apart.

Close
the eyes and breathe slowly.
-
Relax
each part of the body.

Inhale
and exhale slowly.
-
Direct
your attention to breathing only.

Remain
in this asana
for 10 to 15 minutes.
