Parvatasana
(Mountain Pose)
Parvata
means
mountain. The body is
stretched to look like a mountain peak and so it is called a Parvatasana.
Procedure
-
Sit
in Padmasana.

Interlock
fingers. Turn the palms
out.
-
Extend
your arms forward. Then
raise your arms overhead.

Remain
in this position as long
as you can.
-
Bring
your arms down. Uncross your legs and re-cross them the other way.
Repeat the pose.
